Pradeep Nerurkar (1957-2016) was a Mumbai based abstract painter. He studied under the guidance of G. S. Haldankar and Shankar Palshikar and received his Diploma in Fine Art from Sir J. J. School of Art, Mumbaiin 1982. Pradeep has exhibited in several solo and group exhibitions.

Pradeep received many awards and accolades. In 2002, Pradeep won the Governors medal for best the entry at the Bombay Art Society show at Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai. In 2003 he won an award at the 43rd Maharashtra State Art Exhibition in Mumbai. He passed away in 2016. In 2017, he was posthumously honored with the Krutadnyata Sanman by the Bombay Art Society at Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai.
