Pankajam Paul Raj was a Madras based Indian painter. She studied art under Nandalal Bose during her early years and was proficient in the watercolor medium. Her visual language was influenced by the romantic themes popularised by artists of the Bengal School of Art. Her works are known for their delicate rendering and depiction of Indian women in rural themes.
Pankajam later became the student of noted landscape painter G D Paul Raj whom she eventualy married. The artist couple initially lived near Kodaikanal before permanantly moving to Madras.
