Prema Pathare was a Bombay based Indian painter. She was the wife of artist V. B. Pathare. She enrolled at the J.J. School of Art, Bombay in 1940 and studied under both Gladstone Solomon and Charles Gerrard. She also attended Haldankars Fine Art Institute under artist S.L. Haldankar. She has exhibited her works in Mumbai and Gwalior and also internationally in Berne, Paris and London. She won numerous prizes including the Gold Medal from the Calcutta Art Society in 1958. She was a prominent member of the Bombay Art Society, being on the management committee in 1975. She has exhibited he works in Mumbai and Gwalior and also internationally in Berne, Paris and London.
